Children’s Wisconsin CEO Gil Peri will headline a Wisconsin Health News Newsmaker Event in Milwaukee on Aug. 13. 

Peri became CEO of Children’s in August of 2024, succeeding long-time leader Peggy Troy. He brings more than two decades of pediatric healthcare leadership to the role, having served in executive positions at Riley Children’s Health, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Children’s Hospital Colorado and Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Peri will reflect on his first year at the helm of Wisconsin’s largest pediatric health system, share insights on navigating a changing healthcare landscape and discuss key issues facing children’s health in the state.
