In January, Marshfield Clinic Health System joined South Dakota-based Sanford Health, creating a seven-state health system comprising 56 hospitals, 4,500 providers and two health plans.

At a Wisconsin Health News Newsmaker Event on Feb. 11, Sanford Health CEO Bill Gassen and Dr. Brian Hoerneman, CEO of the Marshfield Clinic Region for Sanford Health, will discuss what the merger means for access, costs and the future of rural healthcare in Wisconsin.
