Avik Roy has served as a policy advisor to three Republican presidential candidates, including Mitt Romney in 2012. He is an opinion editor at Forbes, where he writes on politics and policy, and manages The Apothecary, the influential Forbes blog on healthcare policy and entitlement reform. Roy is also the co-founder and president of the Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity, a think tank focused on expanding economic opportunity to those who least have it.
