SNA-WI 2018 Call for Presentations                

Consider presenting at the SNA-WI 2018 Annual Conference! Submit your details today!

The SNA-WI Annual Conference is attended by 275-300 School Nutrition Professionals from Wisconsin and the upper Midwest. Presentations for this year’s conference will look to support the theme, Keep on Rolling!


Please submit the details for your presentation for conference planners to promote your session as soon as possible upon notification of acceptance. The deadline for submissions is November 30, 2017.

Based on suggestions from past conference attendees, the planning committee would be especially interested in sessions on the following topics in addition to many others:

  • Staff overall health and wellness
  • Understanding Processor Link and K12
  • Portioning out fresh fruit
  • Working with students with special needs
  • Customer service (sessions for larger and smaller districts)
  • Basics of using Excel
  • Limiting food waste
  • Unpaid meal policies
  • Drawing down pounds - tracking tools and more 

 

Learning Objectives:
Each abstract will need to include two to three concise and complete learning objectives that describe what the learner will be able to do at the conclusion of the session.

Example:
At the conclusion of this session, the participant will be able to:

  • Explain why flavor is important to the dining experience.
  • Discuss ways to prepare and present food that enhance flavor.
